Banking with Bank of America in Los Angeles, CA — fees experience

If you are a Bank of America customer in Los Angeles, CA and trying to figure out whether your experience is unusual or just how big-bank banking feels at scale, this page covers what I observed plus the public CFPB record so you can decide for yourself.
What I observed (fees experience)
In my experience, the fees were relentless. From my perspective, the bank found every possible excuse to chip away at the balance. Maintenance fees waived only on conditions I had to actively manage. Wire fees on the higher end of the market. ATM-network fees in places where the partner network had thinned. Customer service offered, in my view, zero structural solutions.
