BoA in Los Angeles: my honest review (rewards program)
By Pablo Diaz · I left BoA after years as a customer. Read the full story →
Los Angeles BoA customers reach out to me regularly with the same shape of complaint: rewards that don’t credit, fees that keep showing up, password resets that come back too often. This page covers what I documented as a BoA customer myself, the public regulator record, and the practical next steps if you want to do something about it from Los Angeles.
What I observed (rewards program)
This is the section that moved my BoA experience from frustration to genuinely suspicious. In my experience, rewards I expected did not credit to my account. I set up auto-redeem AND manually requested redemptions on multiple occasions. Neither path produced a deposit I could see. I contacted support, followed every step, and from my perspective, nothing reached my account.
